 1. Secret Thoughts
    Main scene-setting story. Samuel commutes to work among the crowded
    coaches of a local train, observing his fellow passengers and letting 
    his imagination run free. At the office Samuel reviews Tweedales' 
    corporate regime and his work.
 2. A Sunday Out
    Samuel and the Dragon take a trip to the countryside and have 
    the misfortune of venturing into a restaurant with really bad service.
 3. Thumbprints for Posterity
    The arrival of the first PC's at Tweedales has Samuel in a tizz;
    reminding our hero of his maddening encounters with the ubiquitous
    Japanese photocopier.
 4. Ugly Ducklings and All That
    Samuel drops into London's Chinatown and Soho for a spot of shopping,
    dropping into his favourite Chinese restaurant for a bite to eat.
 5. Dealing with the Machine
    Our hero has nightmares about his dealings with the phone company.
 6. Close Encounters with Screwballs
    With not much to do Samuel joins the local Dulwich UFO Spotters club
    with its assortment of loons, crackpots and others. Then has his own
    encounter.
 7. Vicars and VictualsWilbraham
    Much to his regret Samuel finds himself
    helping out at a summer tea party for
    the Dulwich WI. Here he encounters the
    WI Committee, otherwise known as
    the Dulwich Coven.
 8. Jimmy Cairo's
    One evening after work our hero visits
    a Camden drinking club full of rogues,
    villains, and characters like Benny
    the Bouncer.
 9. Kamikaze Kittens
    Being the good sort he is Samuel takes
    in his neighbour's pet kittens for an
    afternoon - pets being forbidden in the
    Wimbush household. An afternoon of
    anguish and pandemonium follows.
10. This Sporting Life
    With a bunch of mates from his local
    pub, The Drunken Peasant, Samuel 
    goes off for a day at the races.

11. Cooking Spaghetti for Churchill
    Samuel helps out with the local fund-raising summer fair. A place
    full of colourful characters like Gypsy Lil the visiting clairvoyant.
12. The Chimney Sweep
    The nephew of the Wimbush's next door neighbours gets stuck up
    the chimney.
13. Pilgrimage to the Land of Suds
    Samuel is delegated the task of doing the laundry with disastrous
    results.
14. The Cultural Visit
    A culturally enlightening visit to London's Tate Gallery.
15. The Night the Lights Went Out
    Samuel and the Dragon visit Scarborough, in Yorkshire, for a
    holiday. Our hero comes perilously close to drowning one
    stormy night.
16. Uncle Archie's Sheep Dip
    A trek to the wild Yorkshire Moors to visit Samuel's septagenarian
    Uncle Archie, Auntie Edna, and their cow Jezebel.
17. Life on the Ocean Wave
    Samuel tries his hand at a spot of sea angling while in Scarborough.
18. George Washington Doesn't Sleep Here
    Samuel and the Dragon join a posse of the curious for a tour 
    round Highgate Cemetery.
19. Whiskey Bravo the Brave
    As the ancestor of one Horatio 'Biggles' Wimbush, shot down over
    Flanders by none other than the Red Baron, the aviating Hun,
    Samuel likes the occasional sortie into the skies. This one has
    a difference.
20. Custard's Last Stand
    Our hero joins a local demonstration in support of creaky old
    George Custard; a local greengrocer for over 50 years and about
    to be evicted from his home by Dodgit Weasel & Slyboots.
21. All Quiet on the Garden Front
    The pitfalls of owning a garden and having to care for it.
22. Gamblers... Very Anonymous
    Samuel craftily escapes for an evening to play Five Card Stud with
    some of the local boys. He almost loses his shirt.
23. The Grasshopper's Ball
    It's Christmas time once again and Tweedales holds its annual thrash,
    where members of the Accounts Department and others - like Gloria
    the company gossip - get rather worse for wear.
24. Mimsy and the John 
    'Twas the night before Christmas.... And Samuel has a close encounter
    with Mimsy, the local madam. All for a good reason, of course !
