The Metropol 2 paintings emerged out of the clone-like interpretations of human forms that can be found in the original Metropolis series. In the m2 works the figures are frequently to be found in more 'pictorial' settings, although not always. I am also interested in the ways which small changes in the body shapes can alter the perceived body language of the individual characters and subsequent relationship with near neighbours. |
